Terms and Conditions
- Basis of Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of beer line cleaning and associated services by
AMBA Tap Ltd (“the Company”) to the Customer. By instructing AMBA Tap Ltd to provide services, the
Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms. Services are provided on a rolling basis. Any quotation
remains valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
2. Services
AMBA Tap Ltd shall provide services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with industry
standards. Services are typically carried out on a three-week cycle unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Access to Premises
The Customer must provide safe and unobstructed access at the agreed service time. If access is not
available, a £50 aborted visit fee will be charged. The Customer must ensure compliance with all
applicable health and safety legislation.
4. Inhibitors (Loaned Equipment)
All inhibitors remain the property of AMBA Tap Ltd at all times. Missing, removed, or damaged inhibitors
will be charged at £15 per unit. Customers must notify AMBA Tap Ltd prior to any cellar refit or works
affecting beer lines.
5. Fees and Payment
Invoices are payable by the due date shown. Late payments may incur statutory interest under the Late
Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 and a £40 fixed charge. Fees are subject to an
annual CPI increase effective 1 April each year.
6. Customer Obligations
Customers must maintain appropriate temperature control and gas pressures. Service date changes
require at least 24 hours’ notice. Disputes must be raised within 7 days of service.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate services with 30 days’ written notice. Outstanding sums become
immediately payable upon termination.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or any liability that cannot lawfully be
excluded. Total liability is limited to fees paid in the previous 12 months. AMBA Tap Ltd is not liable for
indirect, consequential, or business losses.
9. Insurance
AMBA Tap Ltd maintains appropriate Public Liability and Employers’ Liability Insurance in accordance
with UK law. Evidence of cover is available upon reasonable request.
10. Force Majeure
AMBA Tap Ltd shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control,
including severe weather, government restrictions, pandemics, or supply chain disruption.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have
exclusive jurisdiction
